August 12, 2021, was the day we first heard the words Severe Aplastic Anemia. We will never forget that day and every detail of it. August 14, 2022, almost exactly a year later, we will embark on a journey that was unthinkable and is now our reality. 

Though our story is only a year old, we have learned much. We invite you to follow along with us. We will document Carter’s bone marrow transplant journey each step of the way to help us process, cope, journal, and share. We hope this blog may also serve someone else seeking answers. There are not many answers out there for SAA patients. We pray this helps someone.
